PlayDepth privacy policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
PlayDepth is a Windows application for football video analysis. It runs entirely on your computer. This policy explains what data the application uses, where it is kept and what it never does.
What PlayDepth does not do
- It does not collect or send data about you or how you use it. There is no telemetry, no usage statistics, no advertising and no profiling.
- It never uploads your videos anywhere. Player and ball detection, statistics and automatic directing run on your computer (on the graphics card or the processor).
- It does not need an internet connection to work and does not create accounts.
Your data, on your computer
- Videos: stay where they are. The application reads them and never modifies them.
- Projects (events, drawings, statistics, analyses): are kept in the project files you choose and in the backups, in the application’s data folder on this computer.
- Exported videos and recordings: are saved in the folders you choose.
- Camera passwords and streaming keys: are stored encrypted by Windows itself, on this computer only. They never appear in the interface or in the logs.
- Technical logs: text files with errors and technical events, kept on this computer for 14 days, with no passwords or keys.
Connections that only happen when you ask
- Cameras on the local network: the application only connects to the cameras you specify (and, if you click ‘Search the network’, sends a discovery request to your local network only).
- Live streaming: video is only sent to the platform you choose (for example YouTube, Twitch or Facebook) when you click ‘Go live’. The data sent is then subject to that platform’s policy.
- Sharing a video: ‘Copy the file’, ‘Send by email’ and ‘Send via WhatsApp’ only prepare the file and open the application you choose; you are the one who sends it.
- Diagnostics for support: only created if you ask for it, saved to a file on your computer and only sent if you send it. Personal folders and secrets are masked.
This website
The playdepthfootball.com website uses no cookies, does not track visits and loads no third-party content (fonts, videos, advertising or social networks). The hosting provider (Vercel) records technical request data, such as the IP address and the page requested, to serve and protect the website.
Uninstalling
Uninstalling removes the application. Your projects and videos are not deleted.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with the date it was updated. Any collection of usage data would only ever happen with your explicit consent and the option to turn it off.
